Nice Vue

57mm, 1/5 sec at f/2.9, ISO 400

This is the structure outside my local 'Vue' Cinema, I've just seen Layer Cake (it's ok, no Oscars, but I'm not asking for my money back). I thought it best to use burst mode to take these shots (handheld), I'm definitely learning...I actually remembered to up the ISO as well for a change. 8 out of 10 shots were blurred.

I agree. The abstract nature is what appeals.
As an aside, what's the burst feature do?

Hi sparx, the burst feature is used when I want to take a series of shots in quick succession. So I turn the mode on, then just hold down the shutter release and the camera takes as many shots as it can, as fast as possible during the period when I'm hoding the button down.

Then I hope that when I'm using a slow shutter speed, at least 1 or 2 of the frames captured druing this quick firing won't be blurred! I know if I just fired off single shots that I'd get home and look on the PC to see them all blurred. I use up loads more memory and take 10 times as many shots to get one good one, but at least I can be more confident that I do actually have 1 keeper!.
