Christmas Steps

Camera: Canon 20D
Lens: EF 17-40 f/4L @ 17mm (27mm equiv)
Exposure: 4 sec at f/8, ISO 200

I like this shot a lot, but the lens flare annoys me. I might go back and re-shoot it, I have a suspicion that my 'multi-coated' UV filter may have been to blame.

This is another shot taken on the Christmas Steps in Bristol. I should have said last time, but these steps have been there since 1669! Still looking good!

Hello there,

Just stumbled onto your blog using the "random blog" button. Gorgeous photos. I really do like this shot. The lens flare gives an interesting effect. Star-like.

I'll have to come back and check out your archived photos.

Nice shot. I quite the flare effect. It makes the lighting on the buildings seem more 'dramatic' and intense.
