Phone Box

35mm equiv, 1 sec at f/4.5, ISO 200

I can't remember the last time I used one of these old phone boxes, or even a new style one. It's a shame really when technology just wipes out so many cool old things.

[Edit] I've decided to enter this into the Photofriday 'Ghostly' challenge, I hope you all like it!.

I used to think the same, but a few urgent times they were very very handy. Unlike mobiles, they're public, always in one place, and always working (hopefully) no matter what.

Cool, thanks Alec. Things that I dislike about it though are the lens flare (I look at this sometimes and like it, right now I hate it) and the blown out sign. Other than that I think it's good, the guy walking past just made it for me.

Ah, what great exposure you had on this shot. I spent some time in England 10 years ago and it makes me miss it! Beutiful composition. Great work.

This is a great shot. Well set-up. The ghostly figure makes it! Good work.
